Runs the compressor, fan, circulation pump and backup heater as one plan.
Controls a heat pump water heater from six temperature sensors and the refrigerant pressure: a set temperature and band, Economy, Normal or Powerful modes, tank mixing, a staged shutdown and the protections a compressor needs.

Efficiency without the cold shower
A heat pump makes hot water for a fraction of a geyser’s electricity — when it is run well. The Heat Pump Controller decides how: the compressor does the work, the backup heater helps only when the mode you chose says it should, and the circulation pump keeps the tank mixed so the reading at the top tells the truth about the water.
It also looks after the machine. A low refrigerant pressure, an overheating heat exchanger, a compressor asked to start too often — each is caught and reported, and the shutdown is staged so nothing is stopped hard.
