A pump is the most expensive thing in a pump room and the least observed. It runs dry and the seals go; it runs on two phases and the winding cooks; it runs all night because nobody switched it off. The APCON smart driver replaces the starter panel with a controller that switches the pump, protects the motor electrically, and reports what it did.

Four protections, always armed
Dry run when the source empties, overload when current passes the motor's limit, phase failure when a phase is lost, and low or high voltage outside the safe window. Each one cuts the motor in milliseconds and logs why. All four live inside the driver on the wall — no cloud, no Wi-Fi, no phone in the decision.
Control from anywhere
Start and stop from the app wherever you are, with live current, voltage and run hours while it works. The same numbers your service team reads, so most faults are diagnosed before anyone visits the pump room.
Automation that knows both ends
Tie the pump to the tanks either side of it and it runs itself: start when the destination is low AND the source has water, stop when the destination is full. That single rule is what removes both the overflow and the dry run.

Replace the starter with the driver
The APCON smart driver takes your old starter panel's place on the wall — starter, controller and monitoring in one box. Your pump, plumbing and wiring stay exactly as they are.

Dry run, overload, phase failure and voltage faults are detected and acted on inside the driver. That logic never depends on the cloud, your Wi-Fi or your phone — the motor is protected even when everything else is down.

Questions, answered
Do I still need a separate starter panel? +
No. The APCON smart driver IS the starter — it replaces that panel and adds the controller and the monitoring in the same box. That is what makes it a retrofit rather than an addition.
What happens to protection if the internet fails? +
Nothing. Every protection — dry run, overload, phase failure, voltage — runs inside the driver on the wall. The cloud carries the view and the alerts; it is never part of the decision to cut power to a motor in trouble.

Accurate Tank Level Monitoring
Two ways to read a tank — non-contact ultrasonic on the lid, or a contact hydrostatic level transmitter hanging in the water. Both report live percent and litres, warn you before an overflow or an empty tank, and feed the same reading the controller switches your pumps on.

Digital flow meters turn every pipeline into a number you can manage: litres pumped today, consumption per wing or per site, and totals you can export. Water metering is also your leak detector — flow at 3 AM when everyone is asleep is a leak announcing itself.

A monitored circulation loop keeps hot water at every tap the moment it opens — no running the shower cold for a minute. The app watches loop temperature, runs the circulation pump only when needed, and coordinates heat pumps and geysers so comfort never fights efficiency.

Hydro-pneumatic (HPN) systems keep constant pressure across a whole building: pumps cascade in as demand rises, rotate duty so they wear evenly, and stand by for each other. A pressure transmitter on the header puts live line pressure in the app — lead/lag status, pressure trends and every changeover.
